Lot 34). Baker Boy Gum Machine

$2,500.00
(Final Bid)

Baker Boy Gum Machine: 16-1/8 x 9 x 6.5″ Scarce, ca. 1930s mechanical penny gum ball vender by Maniken Vendor Co. Upon inserting coin, baker boy turns, scoops gum ball out of oven, nods and then drops it down the side chute on left side. Interior is very nice and all original and mechanism works nicely (C. 8+/-). Front bottom coin drawer panel appears to have been repainted at some point and there appears to possibly be a bit of minor early touchup on side panels. Overall a very attractive example w/ a nice rich surface patina that displays nicely and works great! Min. bid $150.
